Reiki healing comes from Japan. "Rei " is the Universal Consciousness and "Ki" is Energy.
These relaxing sessions are now used in hospitals, as holistic therapies are taken more and more seriously. A study by Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, shows that around 80 % of patients noticed improvement about sleeping and managing pain or anxiety.
What to expect?
1/ Feel independent and pro-active
You can do Reiki by yourself such as acupressure, for instance. You first learn how to use it on yourself before going further with the training to do it on others.
2/ Release blockages
Emotional issues can be resolved . Some fields such as reiki and EFT, facilitate realizations and they are good complimentary methods to therapies.
3/ Feel less pain
Reiki can help when you are sore. At least you become more aware of your body and its sensations. Introspection can lead to an epiphany!
4/ Grow spiritually
Whatever your beliefs are, Reiki can make everyone happy. It may help you with spiritual growth.
5/ Train to meditate
Chill out and let Energy Flow do its work while giving or receiving Reiki. It offers a delightful sensation of peace and well-being. When you learn how to use reiki, you are required to do daily auto-treatments. If you do them in the evening, for example, they increase the chance of having a good night.
6/ Learn to love unconditionally
Giving and receiving sessions will make you surrender to a dimension of Light and Energy, without any judgment.
